Infinix Hot S2 Pro has talk the talk, the Infinix Hot S3 is here to continue its predecessor’s walk in style.
If you are like me – who has made a pass on last year’s high-end Infinix Smartphone because of the obvious price and specification mismatch, then, this smartphone is the saving grace.
Infinix Hot 6 reviews, specs, price and features. Infinix Hot 6 is the latest version from the infinix Hot series. Barely taking a rest after releasing the infinix Hot S3, which received lots of accolade from Infinix fans. This tech giant followed up with the release of Infinix Hot 6 and Hot 6 Pro.
Don’t get my words twisted here – All I’m trying to say is most Infinix high-end devices asides the Zero 5 didn’t match up to my high taste, most of the phones are great but that’s all there is to it.
The Infinix Hot S3 still isn’t the best Infinix smartphone on the market – but it sure packs awesome features such as the great battery, camera, latest Android OS, a trimmed bezel with a screen ration of 18:9 and a snapdragon processor which is a deal breaker for me.
Some users have went far to infer that the Hot S3 couldn’t have come at a better time than when Tecno released the Camon CM. If it were a response to Tecno, well done Infinix, well done!

I have probably said all about the Hot S3 right? No I haven’t!
Regarding design, the phone will not bag an award but the curved screen and the 18:9 ratio ensures users have more screen and less bezels deserve a mention. Additionally, the smartphone is built with premium plastic materials.
Sure, the 5.65 screen takes advantage of its sheer size by adding an IPS LCD touchscreen with a 300 pexel per inch. The absence of the headphone jack hasn’t caught up with the Hot S3, you can still enjoy music the old fashioned way.
The curved edges and the camera positioning takes an iPhone form – If you’d take away the fingerprint reader and trademark inscriptions, you’ll easily mistake it for an iPhone. Overall, the phone comes with a MicroUSB 2.0 and supports OTG.
With the 20MP front camera plus Dual-LED flash and the 13MP Rear Camera (Dual-LED Flash) f/20 aperture, the camera takes center stage as the highlight here.
The front Camera also known as the Wefie sits with an incredible wide-angle lens which allow for ample shot of the environment.
One thing users would be grateful for is the bump in camera quality and precision. As both front and rear cameras are equipped with Dual-LED flash, this brings to life the chance to take great photos in the dark.
The smooth functions of a smartphone boils down to the processor speed and RAM storage. You’ll appreciate it that the phone packs a Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core Processor while the RAM is decked with 3GB. However, word on the internet is – there’s an exclusive 4GB RAM which will inevitably see a bump in price.
I was shocked to realize that the phone comes with a 32GB internal storage – going against the conventional 16GB on most Infinix devices.
The Infinix Hot S3 has clearly broke grounds but as if that wasn’t enough, the device adds another feather to its cap as the first ever Infinix device to run the Android 8.0. With that said, it utilizes the XOS 3.0 – I’m not the biggest fan of the customized OS because I find them rather rigid, as a result I usually install a launcher, preferably Nova so that I could customize the screen to my taste.
If you aren’t the type that gets intrigued by gimmicky features – the battery will sure blow you away.
Although some people will still call for a large battery storage, 4000mAh for me is an overkill.
While some of you can’t curb the anxiety to purchase the phone already, you’ll have to curb your excitement for now as the phone is only released to the Asian market.
