Like it’s been the previous four years, the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Bob Morgan Memorial Hall of Fame dinner ceremony on Tuesday evening at the Stables at Cannon Smoked Saloon in Gravois Mills, Mo., was an unforgettable evening filled with speeches (or lack thereof) and tributes to several people who have made their mark on the event, which celebrates 29 years this week. Mystic Powerboats president John Cosker is taking a northern detour prior to defending his Top Gun title at the 2017 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout next weekend. He’s coming to Kingston, Ontario, this weekend to throttle Bill Tomlinson’s turbine-powered 50’ Mystic catamaran, My Way, at the Can-Am 1000 Islands Poker Run. The Shootout Poker Run is up and running at full pace and we're ready for a huge weekend at The Lake! #LakeShootout #LakeoftheOzarks #funlake.
The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is back! The 29th annual event begins today, August 18 and goes through next week, and will end on Sunday, August 27.
